Windows 10: Phillips 4K Monitor will not run 60hz

Hello said I had a bought a DisplayPort to HDMI cable because my HP desktop does not have a DisplayPort plugin. Only an VGA (Which my monitor doesn’t have) and a HDMI port. So I plugged in the DisplayPort to my Monitor, and the HDMI into my HP desktop. There is showing no signal or video input. Also I only had bought this DisplayPort cable because my HDMI 2.0 Cable going from the monitor to the desktop, will only get me 30hz and not 60hz. Does anyone have any tips how I can get 60Hz on my Monitor? Thank you

Flickering text on 4K @ 60Hz

Just letting you know, in the manual for my Sony to it says it does support 60hz at 4K which is very odd.

with mouse trailing it seems to fix the flickering issue and seems to be running at 4K at 60hz

 

HDR and WCG will not turn on for 4k 60hz, only 30hz.

I have a gtx 1080ti and a Sony x900e tv. Both support HDR10. However if I set the the refresh rate to 4k @ 60hz via the Nvidia Control Panel Windows 10 won't enable HDR.

If I set it to 30hz, Windows 10 will enable HDR.

My TV is confirmed to be compatible at 4k 60hz HDR while Enhanced Format is enabled.

my set up is 3 monitors (2 24" samsung monitors, and 1 Sony tv which is the main display).

It does work at 1080p @ 60hz for HDR though.

Flickering text on 4K @ 60Hz

So an update, sort of - I gave up on the 4K TV as a monitor route, and purchased a Crossover 404K for around $520 - same price as the 40" Vizio I was using when I started this thread.

The difference is DisplayPort. With the monitor connected this way, all of the issues are gone, regardless of font scaling or UI element. The problem seems to be confined to HDMI 2.0 and NVidia's implementation on the GTX 900 series. The monitor is recognized
using a "PC" display mode 4K @ 60Hz.

The Crossover is a South Korean import, but I've been really please with it so far - better refresh rate, no more flickering, and the same price point as the Vizio (the only way I can justify 4K to my wife at this point!). There are several reviews of this
monitor on the web, for those who are interested.

I'll keep an eye on this and other threads as the issue gets worked in Windows 10 and new releases of NVidia drivers. Just wanted to share my final result with everyone!
