Windows 10: disc image file is corrupted

Discus and support disc image file is corrupted in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I need a fix for error message: "Couldn't mount file. Disc image file is corrupted".     I need a fix for error message: "Couldn't mount file. Disc image file is corrupted". I did multiple scans DISM, sfc, etc..} It says

    my corrupted files must be manually corrected. What should I do?

    Corrupted file RAR

    If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:
    • Open WinRAR application in your system.
    • Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
    • A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
    • Now click Open button.
    • Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
    • Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
    • Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
    • Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
    • WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.
    I hope the above steps will help you repair the corrupted RAR archive.

    Blu ray disc corrupt

    I spent a lot of time backing up a ton of files & folders to the blu ray disc now it's corrupt so frustrating *Frown disc image file is corrupted :( Is is safe to leave the data on corrupted blu ray disc overtime? The only fie that was corrupted was a setup file for a program. Yes I backup my programs that don't require internet. Every other file seems to be working fine on corrupt disc.

    Blu ray disc corrupt

    Thank you everyone for the help. Im backing up to brand new blu ray disc. Now I know for future how to prevent corruption of disc. Also now I know whenever I see in windows explorer "files currently on disc" & this file desktop.ini file ready to be written to disc that means the disc is corrupt.
