Windows 10: Disk space not freed up after uninstalling games downloaded from Windows store

I downloaded Metro: Exodus a while back and found out I can't play it anymore today because it was removed from XGP

So I uninstalled it but apparently it's not fully deleted and my disk space is not reclaimed. Since I only have a 500GB SSD, my space is quite limited, what is the easiest way to fully delete a game from Windows store?

Deleted Windows.old, not enough disk space freed

1. Did you empty the recycle bin ? If not, empty it.
2. Delete the contents under: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
   Those are downloaded Windows Updates files and already installed.
3. Open Admin command, copy and paste the line below then run:
   Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
   This should remove all the no longer used by component store. Will take a while to run.

 

"Uninstalled" Windows Store game, hard drive space still used up

Pretty much what's in the subject. I attempted to uninstall Forza Horizon 3 from my HDD, and while the game was removed from the start menu and everywhere else, the 100gb~ of space it uses was not freed up. Attempting to re-install it leads to the store
seemingly downloading nothing (there is no download progress bar) and using 100% of my disk. I can't manually delete the files because they are in an inaccessible Windows folder.

I suggest you to delete the unwanted applications or games installed on the device and also perform a Disk Cleanup.

In order to delete the games or applications, which has been downloaded from the Windows Store you need to right click on the game and select
Uninstall option from the Start menu.

If the games that you are downloaded are .exe or the applications which are not downloaded from the Windows Store, you may try deleting it from the Control panel.

To do so, please follow the below steps.

• Right Click on Start Menu.
• Open Control Panel.
• Click Programs.
• Click Programs and Features.
  
• Click on the programs that you would like to uninstall.
