Windows 10: Convert EaseUS Todo Backup file .pbd to a .vmdk

Just a quick post to let you know you can do this in EaseUS Todo Backup. There is an option for p2v Conversion witch is handy for me as I went back to Windows 7 on my old DELL laptop and completely forgot to pull some information from one particular application. Now I can mount it in Virtual Box and get what I need. A very cool feature that you can only get from the paid version. Money well spent on my part.

An example of use of pbd files in recovery:

at about 5:50.

Have you ever had anything useful happen by trying to open those via file explorer? How are you trying to do that? You will probably find double clicking one ineffective.

You can only double click meaningfully on them if there is a meaningful file association for them.

I have shown you where to check. Windows per se without the Easeus software correctly installed will know nothing about the pbd file type.

Try repairing (if the option exists) or re-installing Easeus Todo Backup.
