    Can I DELETE System.1.etl file ?!

    Hello Houssem,

ETL stands for Event Trace Log file which is created by Microsoft Tracelog. Windows records application and system-level warnings, errors, or other events to a binary file called the event trace log, which can then be used
to troubleshoot potential problems. You can delete the file and deleting it will not affect your system.

For more information, please refer to this article to know more information about Trace Log.

Hope this information helps you. To notify us and have us get back to you, simply reply to this post.

ETL Collector svc, What is it?

Etl collector service does exactly what it sounds like. Ir runs (and needs to) to collect various log files from various sources and stores them where they need to go. Most ETL log files are stored in C:\windows\logs and these are some of the sources.
There is a decent 3rd party site called blackviper.com that will tell you what services can safely be turned off (or removed)
