  1. Windows Store requesting updates for uninstalled apps

As the title says windows store has been requesting updates for Minecraft Dungeons to update even though I have uninstalled it. I found a similar request for this from 2015, however I have tried everything in that thread however nothing worked https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...nstalled/6ed81f59-42a5-4d75-bed4-a57507780c3d So I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this issue.

I think I'll put a list of people's favourite apps in the OP, starting with my own until I get some suggestions, but you can take a look at the Windows Phone app store at the top apps to see what's popular http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store

You are both now added, welcome! *Toast :toast:

  3. Uninstalled apps still showing in search and windows store update Windows 10

    Hi Koti,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft community.

Let's try the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Step 1: Place the Computer in clean boot state and checkUninstalling the app
from the Windows Store. To disable all non-Microsoft services consult the article called Clean Boot.

    Follow: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, refer to this section "How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting"

Disclaimer: A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when
you run a program in Windows. You may also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.

Step 2: I would suggest you to
open the Windows store and search for the app and Uninstall.

    • Press Start and type Windows store.
    • Search for the app which you want to uninstall.
    • Select Uninstall and check if the app is uninstalled.
Keep us informed if the issue is resolved. We are glad to help you further.

Windows Store requesting updates for uninstalled apps

Uninstalled apps stuck "installing" in Microsoft Store (MSN News)

    Hi Will,

A corrupted Microsoft Store cache is one of the possible reasons why some apps are stuck in an "installing phase" when you try to uninstall them. We suggest that you try running the
Windows App troubleshooter to troubleshoot the issue.

If the issue persists, we suggest that you reset the Microsoft Store cache. You can follow the steps below to reset the Microsoft Store cache:

    • Press Windows + R keys to open the run
      command
      box.
    • Type WSReset, then try launching Microsoft Store and sign in.

Should you need further assistance, don't hesitate to get back to us.
