  1. Random "reboots" after the 2004 upgrade

Since upgrading to 2004, my PC randomly "reboots", most often under heavy load, but not always: sometimes I leave it with the desktop on and when I go back it had already rebooted. What's weird is that most of the time it doesn't actually restarts but instead goes black screen, cuts off USB drivers (LEDs in the mouse and keyboard go dark) and is generally unresponsive until I manually turn it off and on using the power button.

Has any of you encountered this bug? Maybe found a fix for it? I tried to roll back to 1909, but 10 days have already passed and the system won't let me. Appreciate any insight.

  3. Random Reboots

I've had, as the title suggests, random reboots for the length of the time since I've built my computer (2 years roughly) and they're completely inexplicable.

It happens under no load, high load, watching movies, listening to music, playing games, browsing the web, sitting by itself in the room when the my sleeping monitor is even saying WTF?!

There aren't any Events to view other than the usual 0xC*D event when the service just shrugs at me.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Maybe someone has had the same problem before and it was just a loose molex connection? I'm baffled.

Broken Jump Lists after upgrading to 2004

Hi, I am suddenly facing issues with the Jump Lists after upgrading to version 2004. For some reason, when I try to access recent files (that have not been moved), Windows thinks that the file is not there. This happens randomly to some files. I've attached an example of such an issue with using the Jump Lists for Notepad++. Anyone know a solution to this?
