Windows will not install apps where I tell it to.

I have changed my install location for apps from my C drive to my F drive because I do not have enough room on my C drive to store games from the Xbox for PC app. I had been installing and playing games on that drive for a few months but now for some reason I'm now not able to access my F drive at all and it wouldn't even let me play any games on it.

I formatted the drive and I started installing Halo: The Master Chief Collection. But it wasn't installing the game to the F drive so I cancelled the install. I then went and installed Ape Out but I discovered the game did not get installed on the F drive even though I made sure the F drive was selected for the install location. At this time I noticed my C drive had gone down quite a few gigabytes so I went to investigate. Windows will not let me view the Windows Apps folder in program files at all. I tried changing the security permissions but I get an error saying the profile the one I am using is corrupted and I should delete it then create a new one. So at this time I am not sure what to do.

FYI, I just recently move my drives over to a new system build. I came from an Intel system to my newly built AMD system.

I am wondering if doing a reinstall of windows where I keep my apps and folders is possible.

    :)

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Windows will not install apps where I tell it to. :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

    Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
    Step 1
    reinstall windows from scratch
    Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
    Step 3
    update windows
    Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
    Step 5
    Install GPU drivers
    Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.
