    How do I copy Windows people into outlook contacts


    Just started using Outlook for my emails and wish to copy contacts from Windows People into Outlook

    Thanks.

    Can you tell me where the Contacts are stored?

    I also want to back up the Contacts.

    In Outlook, People I clicked to Export to a File. It lists Contacts and 2 folders under it with long numerical filenames. What are these folders?

    Delete all contacts in People? Multiple instances of all contacts.


    I don't know how this happened. I have my gmail account and an outlook account in the win 10 "People." The app has multiple copies of the contacts sometimes more than just 2. I'd like to remove all the contacts and accounts and start fresh. I cant find how to do that. Also removing a single contact requires a one by one removal of linked contacts. I don't know how thy got linked, but I should be able to select them all for removal in one step.

    What am I missing?

    How do I copy Windows people into outlook contacts

    Outlook People Not in Contacts Folder

    I exported Windows Live Contacts from Windows 7 computer and imported them into Outlook 2016 on Windows 10.
    The contacts appear in Outlook People and in Address Book.

    The Contacts folder in C: >Users>Username>Contacts is empty.
    I am the only user.

    Should the contacts also be in there?
    How can I get them there?
