  1. GameDVR needs 2GB RAM?

I'm overall very satisfied with the gamebar and the ability to record. I really like how less performance impact background recording has when I play games (I lose just 1-2 FPS).

However, in task manager I noticed that it needs nearly 2 gigabyte RAM/MEMORY. is this normal or is there something wrong going on (memory leak or something)?

With my low end laptop having only 8gb ram it's kinda a lot

    GameDVR Listing Problems (Windows 10)

When I record a video on the GameDVR application, the footage does not appear in the GameDVR listings though it appears in the location that I set it to. This means that I can not trim or upload the video within the app.

    I have tried:

    - Restarting computer.

    - Deleting everything inside folder.

    - Recording another video.

    Thanks!

  4. GameDVR needs 2GB RAM?

nvidia graphics card and windows update

This issue could be due to the Xbox app and the GameDVR. GameDVR could affect the machine’s performance since it constantly records your gameplay. Try to disable GameDVR and check if this will improve the performance. Follow these steps to do so:

    • Open Xbox app on your Windows PC.
    • Sign in using your Microsoft account.
    • Click on the Hamburger Menu.
    • Choose Settings.
    • Select GameDVR.
    • Toggle it off.

Feel free to give us updates on your query.
