I saw a laptop in a shop in my city. It was 130$, it had windows 10. So I thought to buy it, however, when I saw the specs, I wasn;t so sure whether I should buy it.

It had win.10, 6gb of ram, and a hdd of 140gb, the processor was i5, and the graphics, were decent..

Do you guys think that it is worth it?

The laptop was a dell latitude e6410 by the way

    many thanks

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    My recent selection criteria were:

    1. For CPUs look at the CPU benchmark charts for the applications you will use - I concluded an i5 was sufficient
    2. 8 GB RAM and 256 /512 GB SSD. Space for second internal drive.
    3. 15" or 14" IPS display
    4. Easy to remove back and upgrade
    5. Windows 10 Pro rather than Home
    6. Cost under £700
    7. Good warranty support

After my recent exhaustive search to meet the above criteria I bought a HP Probook 450 G6

    advice on buying a laptop

Most of the major vendors -- Lenovo, Dell, HP and so forth -- operate refurbished sales outlets to the public. You can find killer deals on one- to two-year old laptops and such there, usually at about a 50% discount off their "new" pricing. That's where I'd suggest looking, as well as on local advert sites, at local dealers, and so forth. If you're not buying "new new" as you put it, you can really save some serious money...
