    Keyboard function stopped working

Earlier this evening I must have had something sitting on top of my keyboard on my desktop Windows 10 PRO PC. My wife and I heard some beeps and tones. When later I went to type something, nothing happened. I use wireless USB keyboards. I thought the batteries died, so I replaced them. Nothing. Tried a new wireless keyboard. Nothing. Paired a bluetooth keyboard which was recognized. Nothing. I thought I should reboot to see if it would fix itself. Now I cant even enter my pin. I am using my laptop to post this.

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this. I really need my desktop as I don't have outlook on the laptop, so no emails.

    :)

  2. Intermittent keyboard non-functioning

I use a wireless mouse and keyboard. Every now and then, often enough to be irritating, the keyboard fails to function: the mouse works properly. The keyboard problem persists for a few minutes, after which it works again. There is no discernable pattern to this problem.

This is the third wireless keyboard to show the same problem, suggesting something is wrong elsewhere.

The keyboard batteries are not responsible for the failure.

On the same desk is a cordless telephone.

Any helpful suggestions would be very gratefully received.

    Method 2:

Let’s try updating the driver for the mouse and keyboard and verify the results. Follow the steps:

    g) Choose the same steps to update the driver for keyboard as well.

Check if it resolves the issue. If not, I would suggest you to download and install the latest available drivers for the keyboard from manufacturer website of the laptop. If the issue still persists, install the driver in Windows Compatibility mode and check
    if that helps.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:
