    Second monitor shows same screen as first, but not detected

    For us to better assist you with your concern, we'd like to know the following:

    • Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:
    • Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
    • Click OK.
    • Have you tried unplugging the second monitor and plug it back in?
    • Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?
    • Have you tried press Windows key + P and select
      Extended      ?
    • What is the make and model of your computer and monitor?

    Nice thing about it is, it replicates in jump lists as well!
