Windows 10: Have the Desktop as one of the open windows when using Alt Tab

    Have the Desktop as one of the open windows when using Alt Tab


    In an old Windows version, on HP, I always have the desktop as an open window, and can go to it.

    I don't have this option on my Asus, with Windows 10.

    Am I missing something. In 10 Alt+Tab no longer switches between the desktop and open applications. You need to perform an extra step to get to the desktop

    alt + tab not working

    i always just use the windows key to get back to the desktop [pops up the start dealy, doesn't need anything to alt+tab to]

    What is the "magic" of alt+tab?

    What about using alt+enter to ensure you're full screen, or switch to window and back instead of alt-tabbing to desktop?

    Can't recall a game I've played having any issues like what you're reporting...but I do recall using alt+enter to go full screen, still use that from time-to-time when a game launches incorrectly or launches with first run settings. I'm curious to see if only alt + tab works for you or if alt + enter works as well...
