Windows 10: Windows10 Version 2004 Nvidia Color Settings drop

Starting with the Windows 1903 Update my Nvidia Color Settings would drop...normally when coming out of sleep. I have contacted nVidia and there has been an open ticket with nVidia Support for over 8 months. I keep getting from them that the Ticket is open and they have not been able to duplicate the issue.


Few days back Windows updated to version 2004...the issue with nViida Color setting has gotten worse. Now in addition to the Color Setting dropping coming out of sleep, when I Power on my PC and the desktop appears I see the NVidia setting kicking in and within seconds they drop.


So my work around is getting real old....I open the nVidia Control panel, and keep it open so the Panel is always open to click on Use nVidia Setting.....to adjust my monitor to my pleasing display.


I have tried a feel changes of settings, for example, ....Chnaging settings in Windows Color Management, WindowsColourSystem triggers; disabling them, made no difference.

I understand that nvidia Control Panel is not accepting desktop color settings correctly, In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, we would need some
information.

1. What is the Make and the Model of the computer?
   
2. May I know the Model of the nvidia Graphic card?
   

I suggest you to try the following methods and check:

Method 1: Change the output dynamic range to full.

1. Open nvidia control panel.
   
2. Click on Display.
   
3. Select Change resolution.
   
4. Output dynamic range
   
5. Set this value to Full.
   

Method 2: Update nvidia Graphic driver.

Suggest you to update the nvidia Graphic driver from the

nvidia website and check if it fixes the issue.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

• Navigate to Start>Settings>Personalization.
• In the left navigation pane, click on Colors.
• In the right pane, select the Accent color and close the Window and check for status.
