Please answer this question to assist you better.

• What is the make and model of your computer?
• Which troubleshooting steps are you referring to?
• Does this issue occurs in any particular app e.g. Skype?

Try to use the camera on different apps or websites and check if it works fine. Refer the link below and follow the troubleshooting steps suggested.

Unable to use Microscope camera

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



Please try using the Microscope camera on a different computer and check if you are able use it.



Try updating the drivers for the camera and display adaptors.



Please follow the steps from the article to
update drivers in Windows 10.



I also suggest you to disable the Driver Signature Enforcement in Windows 10, by following these steps.

1. Press the Windows + I to open
   PC Settings.
   
2. Select Update & Recovery.
   
3. Then click on the Recovery option on the left hand side.
   
4. Once selected, you will see an advanced startup section appear on the right hand side. You will need to click on the
   Restart now button.
   
5. Once your computer has rebooted you will need to choose the
   Troubleshoot option.
   
6. Select Advanced Options.
   
7. Click on Startup Settings.
   
8. Since we are modifying boot time configuration settings, you will need to restart your computer one last time.
   
9. Here you will be given a list of startup settings that you can change. The one we are looking for is “Disable driver signature enforcement”. To choose the setting, you will need
   to press the F7 key, that will disable driver signature enforcement from your computer and you can have a check with the camera issue.
