Windows 10: Start Full Screen Background

So, I have a wallpaper on my desktop that used to show when I used my start full screen. Now, my start screen is completely black with only some of the icons and boxes which are also blank. It only shows colors on my start screen, nothing else. When I try to change my background, it doesn't even recognize my choice of background that I have chosen from my own gallery. It's not a huge problem but it is making me very mad because if I try to fix it, something else messes up. I have restarted, rebooted, turned off and on several times now. It has been like this for at least three days. I just want to be able to see my wallpaper again and I want my start to be fixed.

I would suggest you to try the following steps:

• 
  Click Start icon and click Settings
  
• 
  Choose Personalization, click on Start
  
• 
  Turn on “Use start full screen”

If you’re referring to Start screen full mode then I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

  Go to all settings.
  
• 
  Click on Personalization
  
• 
  Select start, and turn on Use Start full screen and check if it helps.

If you are talking about the Start screen using the full Desktop background go Settings, Personalization, Start, Turn off Use Start full screen.

Note this then shows the All apps alphabetical list on the Start Menu screen.
