    I reset my computer, now my storage is filling up faster than ever.


    I had this computer for 5 months before resetting it and the storage was never near full. I reset it 2 months ago, have significantly less than I had on it before, and now my storage is filling up quickly- I'm getting warnings and can't perform certain actions because of it. I didn't choose to keep files when I reset it, and I just can't see what is taking up my storage. Help?

    SSD storage keeps filling up on its own

    I don't have any games or anything larger than 5GB installed on my SSD but for some reason all of my storage keeps getting used up and I don't know by what I cant empty any space either. When I try to do a computer reset and choose the option to only clean
    the drive with windows installed on it (SSD) it stays at 1% and then says that rest failed I don't know what is going on. I am running on windows 10 and another thing i've tried is to use disk cleanup but the storage keeps filling up again on my solid state.

    Storage is filling up and backup is too big

    I guess this is two questions, but they may be related.

    The first problem is my internal storage is filling up even though I haven't added any new apps. I've even deleted as many as I dare, but it keeps filling. What can I do about it?

    Secondly, I have been using automatic backups but it now says that I need 130GB for my backup. I'm only backing up my documents, and I don't use more than a few GB for my files, and most of that is on Dropbox.

    What can I do to reduce all this clogged up memory?

    I can't transfer my photos from omnia->my storage to my PC Via USB.

    Instead of synchronizing, there is a better and faster way to transfer your pictures from device to PC and vice versa. It is possible to connect the device and make it appear as a removable disk or mass storage device. The same as connecting a USB drive
    to the computer. To do that, go to Start > Settings > USB Connection mode on the phone. Choose Mass Storage and My storage in the drop down list. If you have a storage card, it will alse appear in that list. Now, all you have to do, is connect your device, open Windows
    Explore on the computer to copy/paste your pictures to the location you want. Again, this is a much faster way to transfer a lot of files rather than using WMDC to sync.
