  1. Upgrading To Window 10 Gone Wrong

Please Go Through Whole Post Deeply Need Your Help

A month Ago I Upgraded My PC from Window 7 ultimate To 10, By downloading ISO file from Media Creation Tool than Uses Rufus To transfer that ISO ( 32 bit ) to USB and successfully Upgraded my PC to Window 10 Pro

Today Without Doing Any Research I Upgraded My Friend PC from Window 10 ultimate To Window 10 Pro N ( don't know why I clicked on N ) Using Same Bootable USB

Right after Setting up everything we tried to activate window using His W7 key it's Shows invalid

Tried this and that for 3 hours without anyhope and than don't know why but I installed Jellybean key finder And Bang that software was showing MY Window Key & Product ID

So we just copy pasted that ( mine ) key into activation window And it's got accepted

I thought ok that's fine but Yet it's still show activate window logo everywhere

    See This Too :-

Was checking his build info and found this - 32bit operating system x64 based processor

So as usual asked to google about it And got the answer in simple words - YOU CAN INSTALL 64BIT OS

    Need Your Help Here ---

What to do about that key situation mine key is working fine in his PC for couple of hours & key finder software showing my key instead of his

    ///

I thought after update that window.old file will have restore file but system found nothing automatically ( was originally thinking about to downgrade to W7 and than Install W10Pro 64 bit )

= HOW TO GET THINGS BACK TO NORMAL NOW ? ( That key situation )

= How to upgrade from that W10 Pro N 32bit To 64 bit ? ( I made another bootable USB but with 64bit this time but it's not booting on startup at all )

PS :- Cross Post , need every bit of help I can get from here n there

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:
    • Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
    • Try different keyboard or mouse.
    • Restart computer, repeatedly.
    • Google for related issues.
    • Update Bios, because why not.
    • Create boot media and revert to windows 7.
The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

i've seen this when the stock USB drivers went kaput. Only ever seen it once - i used a PCI USB 2.0 card and connected the mouse and keyboard to that, and manually updated the USB 2/USB 3 drivers.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
