Windows 10: Microsoft Screen Time Difficulties

My daughter left her computer open, and it has locked. She opened the computer back up to request more time from me, but had the pop-up, "Something went wrong, We were unable to send your request. Are you connected to the internet?". She checked the internet and is connected and secured. We've tried seemingly everything, including restarting the computer, turning on and off Wi-Fi, restarting our Wi-Fi, and editing screen time on Microsoft Family. I was wondering if someone could help.
