Windows 10: My printer has unexpected configuration problems

Good Morning,


I'd like to get my printer fully up and running. It has been giving me problems as of late.


I have an HP Envy 7858. It will print word documents, but when I try to print PDF's or JPG's , the message says...Your printer has experienced an unexpected configuration problem 0x8007007e and will not print.


When using the Scan Doctor, the device status is in red and it says Scanner Feeder Mispick detected: Verify paper is loaded correctly. Clean the document feeder roller. I've done both and still nothing.


I have uninstalled and installed the drivers for the printer and still nothing. I'm at a loss and any assistance would be appreciated!!

Hi Mattie, generally the printer needs resetting when you get an 'Unexpected configuration' error . .

What is the Make and exact Model No. of your Printer - that should be on a sticker on the casing . . .
