    Ever since the update KB4559309 was installed on my Lenovo Ideapad 110 laptop on 6/20/2020, I began having problems with lagging and freezing during Skype calls. Tried Zoom and same thing. First called my ISP provider and they installed a fiber optic line going into my home so that the speed is faster. However, I had slower speeds before and never had this problem. I am still lagging and freezing and when I do speedtests, I can see where the speed is not consistent and there are big drops in the download speed.

    I have called Microsoft Support and they have done some things to my laptop, but after the second call they told me to contact my ISP provider. I don't believe it's a provider issue. I think it's the update because my problem began IMMEDIATELY after that install. NOTE: when I plug an ETHERNET cable directly into the router and my laptop, there is NO problem.

    Video is not working for Zoom or Skype

    Hello,

    Have you checking the privacy settings if Camera is ON on both Zoom and Skype?

    Go to Setting > Privacy > Camera > make sure the toggle button for both Zoom and Skype are ON.

    If my suggestion did not solve the issue, please reply back and confirm if there is an error message or error code so we can try other step.

    Might as well open the Camera App and test if it's working there so we can narrow down the problem.

  3. Enable Video Call for Skype

    My personal experience was very easy (my difficulty is getting nokia messaging to send!). I simply updated to 1.2 and i have a friend i regularly talk to on Skype. At first there was no option for video calling, they logged on later and it appeared - i clicked
    their name and it had the usual 'skype call' 'skype im' and under that it had 'skype video call'.



    What i'd suggest doing first is download the latest skype on your PC (the version is listed in this thread i believe), log in with a separate account to the one on your N900, do 'echo' and check it's working and also connect a webcam if possible. Then add
    that accout to your contacts list in the account you actually use (so, the one on the N900 needs your 'test account' added in the contacts list). Go online for both, open contacts and click on that contact and with any luck it should say 'video call'
