Getting conflicting messages on whether I need to update Windows 10

Every time I check for Windows updates I am informed that I am up to date. However, immediately below that message I see this message: "You’re currently running a version of Windows that’s nearing the end of service. We recommend you update to the most recent version of Windows 10 to get the latest features and security improvements."

I am currently running Windows 10 Home, Version 1809, installed on 8/28/19, on an HP Envy m6 notebook with an x64-based processor.

According to my update history, an attempt to install a feature update failed on 7/3/20. I think the attempt failed because the machine was in danger of overheating and automatically shut down while the update was in progress. I believe I can avoid the overheating if I can get another attempt going, but I don't see any way to initiate another attempt. All other updates have been successfully installed including, most recently, a quality update on 7/3/20.

So am I up to date or not? If not, what can I do to get up to date?

    :)

    Conflicting Wi-Fi Messages

    Hi.
I have this problem trying to access a ASUS Win 10 computer on a local network.
I am getting these two messages:
One or more network protocols are missing on this computer
Windows Socket Registry Entries Required for Network Connectivity are Missing

I am told that the Wi-Fi is not connected, but the device status says it is working properly

  3. Windows Update Error Message 0x80070543

Ya Ya Ya, there's over a hundred threads like this, ...

Anyway, started getting this error message a few days ago, and done a lot of searching on this error message, apparently it's not, uncommon.

In particular, the (currently) 4 updates that are being affected are:
    • Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3173428) - Error 0x80070543
    • Security Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3172729) - Error 0x80070543
    • Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3174060) - Error 0x80070543
    • Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3176493) - Error 0x80070543

The actions I've taken to date are:
    1. Uninstalled firewall program (comodo)
    2. Uninstalled anti-virus (Avast)
    3. Reset the windows update catalog on local machine.

So the above errors are with the above done.

What other steps should I be taking to resolve the issue?

Below is notations for when I actually add to this thread.

    1. Attempted to use the troubleshooter, no dice.
