Windows 10: Hotmail not performing on my Windows 10 laptop

For a number of months now I have had the following issues with Hotmail:


1. When I open a folder other than my Inbox, it says there's nothing there and to try again later. Eventually my emails load.

2. Many times when I reply to an email, I get the following message: The original message can't be shown right now. It will be included when this message is sent.

3. And then when I try to send it, it comes back saying it can't be sent at this time and to try again. I try again and get this message along with the message in #2 above: This message can't be sent right now. Please try again later.

This is not a one-off. It happens most of the time. So I have to go to my iPad and use Outlook there or on my phone.

Cannot add my hotmail account

Before we proceed, I need more information to help you better.

• Is this issue specific only to the Hotmail account?
• Are you trying to add the Hotmail account from the primary account?

I suggest you to uninstall the apps which came inbuilt with Windows 10 using Windows Powershell and reinstall using Windows Store. Follow the below steps.

• Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell in the
  search bar.
• Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
  
• Enter the below command to reinstall the Mail and Calendar app.
  

get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage


After performing the above steps, install the Mail and Calendar app form the Windows Store.

STUPID Windows Live Hotmail

STUPID Windows Live Hotmail - NOW FIXED

PROBLEM:
Microsoft Outlook Express has stopped working / is not working with hotmail. Yesterday it was working. Today it is not.

I've been using hotmail/outlook express for the last 6 years or so. (And without any problems). BUT today, without my knowledge, MS has upgraded *downgraded?* my hotmail accounts to the new Windows Live Hotmail, which DOES NOT WORK with outlook express.

ALL MY EMAILS ARE STUCK. *Bang Head :banghead: RETARDS! This is my business mail too!

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
