Windows 10: Microsoft Installer flashing and closes immediately

I formatted my PC and installed Windows 10 version 2004(build19041) today for some reasons.

After installing windows, I couldn’t get any browser’s installer (Chrome, Edge Beta and Chromium Edge) to work. It just flashes and disappears. Same thing happens when I run as administrator.

Also iTunes won’t launch even though it’s downloaded from Microsoft store.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Ensure that Flash Player is enabled.

• 
  Click the Tools menu, in the upper-right corner of Internet Explorer.
  
• 
  From the Tools menu, choose Manage add-ons.
  
• 
  Select Shockwave Flash Object from the list.
  
• 
  Click Enable, and then click Close.
  

Step 2: Disable ActiveX Filtering

1. Open the page that has rich media content in Internet Explorer.

2. Click the Tools menu and choose Safety > ActiveX Filtering.

3. Close the browser and open it. Then, try to view the content.



And also try to install the latest Flash player and check if it helps.

Installing Win 10 x64 using a flash memory

As long as the flash drive is MBR, with a FAT32 partition marked as active. Then you can copy and paste all the files and folders from a mounted Windows 10 installation ISO file to it and it will be universally bootable.
