    VM booting up to setup mode


    I recently made a vm using virtualbox running windows 10. however, when I start the vm it boots into setup mode and i have to reinstall windows every time i want to use it. How do I fix this?

    Computer Will Not Boot Up Upon Power

    Do you see the Windows logo and then a black screen?

    If that's the case, then we suggest that you try starting the computer in safe mode through Window recovery. Once in safe mode, uninstall the video driver and restart the computer. To start in safe mode, follow these steps:

    • Boot from the Installation media. (If you don't have one, click on this
      link      .)
    • On the initial setup screen, enter your language and other preferences, and then select
      Next. If you're not seeing the setup screen, your PC might not be set up to boot from a drive. Check your PC manufacturer's website for info on how to change your PC's boot order, and then try again.
    • Select Repair your computer. On the Choose an option screen, select
      Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings.
    • Choose Enable Safe Mode.

    Windows 10 (in a VM) is not finishing setup.

    I am using Windows 10 in a VM (VirtualBox) and the setup is not finishing. I have removed the iso when the VM finished booting up for the first time. The system restarted twice and the furthest I got was at the create a account. Also, the VM got me into
    the desktop before I even created my account! The host system is a Windows 8.1, with 4GB of RAM. The VM has 1GB of RAM, 35GB of storage. If you want a copy of the VM, I am happy to. Please may you help me.

    VM booting up to setup mode

    PC wont boot up (No POST, No Video)

    I recently installed a new Asus M5A99X Evo r2.0. The motherboard green LED lights up and the case and cpu fans spin. But there is no video when its hooked up to my monitor.

    Steps that i have tried:
    "No POST", "system won't boot", and "no video output" troubleshooting checklist

    Made sure all connections are properly connected.

    Flashing the CMOS

    Tested the PSU

    Followed all steps in the user manual

    If there are any links that you guys can point me to or suggestions that could help it would be highly appreciated. Thank you
