    Hello,

I have a strange problem, I cant' run any program or change any setting to which is required being an administrator. I can't get access to my disc C from "this PC" or to change any setting to which making the change is required to be an admin, but I can open for example folder downloads using shortcut from desktopwhich is on C . I can't also run programs which are on D as administrator. This is weird for me, cause when i i check my status in settings-accounts, I'm an administrator. Several days ago I was trying to change some settings with C to give acces for Matlab to disc C, but I think I took the acces from me :- However that does not still explain why I have problems with programs on D . I was trying to make a new user using safe mode, and command prompt and make him admin but the user didn't even start to exisit, don't know why.

I hope you can help me, I will be very grateful.

P.S The icon of disc C always was with the icon of admin as in the photo, but now is without and looks like D Don't have administarotr's right being the admniistrator. bb29e490-04ac-4b3c-9763-4d9356dc7357?upload=true.jpg

    Can't delete folder - don't have rights - Windowsapps

Ok here are the steps i take.
    - I right click Microsoft.Forzahorizon4Demo_1. etc...its 28GB
    - Right click>Properties. Its attributes are read only.

then security tab>list of all the names with various permissions.

my username has no permissions ticked. Administrators have all ticked (black ticks).
    So i click on Advanced.

The owner at the top is set to Administrators. So i change that to my name. I then tick the 'replace owner on subcontainers andobjects' checkbox. Then i click apply.

It comes up with the box you just pasted above. I click ok. I then close all the menu pages down until i'm back to the explorer view again.

Then i right click the same folder again> properties>security tab>advanced

now it shows the owner as my name. I click on my name in the permission entries list, and it says I have full control.

But then when i go back to the previous page with the p ermission ticks - and highlight my name, its all greyed out, no black ticks.

    - - - Updated - - -

made a 2nd video showing what i'm doing - any more ideas?
or am i going to have to format the entire drive just to get rid of this.....

Don't have administarotr's right being the admniistrator.

How does a post being qualified as "low quality"?

I like lists and I'd like to see one!

IMO, this is a good step forward as these forums have become increasingly toxic.
