STMicroelectronics 3-Axis Digital Accelerometer Driver Causing Video Playback Issues?

Hi everyone, to keep things short I wil summarise the issue i had.

Initially I had the STMicroelectronic 3d Accelerometer driver installed however it started giving me a code 10(driver cannot start). As such, I replaced it with the driver listed in the title. But now I am unable to play videos offline(completely). I can
still watch online videos but they are not smooth(initially it wasn't working well either but I improved it)

Can anyone suggest to me what I shall do? Because I am completely out of ideas. Thanks in advance.

note - I am not 100% sure if the new driver is the cause of the issue as I had a dell employee mess around with my laptop for hours with no result. It is a dell xps 15 9570.

What is the make and model of your computer?

File igdkmd64.sys is the Intel Graphics Kernel Mode Driver for Microsoft Windows 8.

I would suggest you to follow the steps provided below:



Step 1:

Uninstall the Device from Device Manager

• Open Device Manager
• Expand the Display Adapter section.
  
• Find the Display card Driver.
• Right click Display card Driver and select
  Uninstall.
• Select the check box delete the driver software for this device.
• Reboot the computer after uninstall process has finished.

Step 2:

Uninstall the Device Drivers from Program List in Control Panel

• Click on start, select Control Panel
• Now click on Programs and select Programs and Features.
• Find the Display card Driver.
• Right click Display card Driver and select
  Uninstall.
• Reboot the computer after the uninstall process has finished.
