    Issues with Updating to Windows 2004


    I currently own an Asus FX505DU Gaming Laptop. I am trying to update to Windows 2004 and 20H2 provided by the Windows Insider Program. However, when I try to install both updates, the end result is always:


    Installing - 35%


    Then it pulls up the windows updater and tells me that Windows is still trying to support my software and that no action needs to be taken.


    Considering that the update was released all the way back in May, I am wondering if there is something I need to do or check, or if I should wait for Microsoft to safely deliver the update to me.


    Would appreciate some responses.

    Windows update issues

    Came here to suggest this.*Laugh :laugh:

    Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.

    I would suggest reading the list of Known Issues.

    I was able to force install it in early June, and I tested it for a couple days before rolling back to 1909.

    Microsoft apparently has now decided to block force installs.
