Windows 10: Slow startup boot

Discus and support Slow startup boot in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; my laptop has never done this before.     my laptop has never done this before. I have an Asus laptop and recently ive been getting stuck at the welcome screen for more than 10 minutes each load. This is especially frustrating because my laptop always has this problem where it loses wifi and the only way to fix it is to reset it. So every time i reset it which is often I get stuck on this long welcome screen. I've recently downloaded hefty programs such as after effects and adobe media encoder could this be the issue? Ive also reset my laptop completly because I was stuck in the welcome loop for HOURS and I still have the same problem. Ive made sure theres no startup programs running. Another possibility is I turned off fast boot but this is because my laptop keeps shutting down spontaneously. But again ive had this problem before ive turned off fast boot. What should I do to fix my computer? :

    Slow Startup

    Does anybody know why I am having really slow system startups? I don't have extra startup programs than I use to have. The only thing that I think it could be is my antivirus program. I use AVG now since I reformated 2 days ago..and every since then, I have a really slow startup..I don't know if that is the reason..Does anybody have any suggestions, on how to speed my startup? I use to be able to be on my desktop screen in like 35-40 seconds at most. And now it is way over a minute. Any help would be gr8.

    Slow startup boot

    laptop doesnt boot automatically

    This is what happened.

    1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
    2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
    3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
    4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
    5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
    6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

    I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

    Many thanks to all members who helped to troubleshoot problems.
