Windows 10: How do i find out more about my automatic desktop image

Windows 10 sets my desktop backgrounds automagically and changes them every once in a while.

Any idea how i can find out what picture is showing and find out info about that picture? I have a really lovely image up at the moment and want to know more about it.

How do I get more information about Windows Spotlight images?

Windows Spotlight is a new Windows 10 feature which displays random images on your lock screen.

Now every now and then the picture happens to be a particularly nice one, and I'd like to know more about it. (What does it show? Where was it taken?)

I was able to (kind of) solve this problem with the following steps:

1. Go to the lock screen settings. A preview of the current lock screen image is shown there.
   
2. Take a screenshot of the preview and upload it to Google Reverse Image Search.
   

Is there an easier way?

 

Windows 10 mail automatically downloads images

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if the issue resolves.

• Open Windows Mail App.
• Click on the Gear Icon/ Settings on the left bottom.
• Select Reading in the right corner.
• Turn Off Automatically download external images and Style Fonts.
• Restart the Application and check if the issue resolves.

How do I find my cpus stepping?

1.) CCBBE is not a valid AXP stepping. (IIRC)
2.) The electronic stepping is a much broader stepping than most people use.

What he is most likely wanting is the minute details of his stepping. These of which you will HAVE to read off of the CPU label as they vary too much to be electronically input into thye cpu.

The only way to read the "stepping" most people use to determine overclocks is the label. no ifs, ands or buts. Thats the ONLY place its located.
