Windows 10: What a joke..

I have two Windows computers now. One, that Ive posted about before, is my personal computer with good hardware but has all kinds of glitches software and plug in wise that Microsoft has more or less ignored. Combined with the random hijackings for updates in spite of my scheduling them and constant lock ups, lost software and files I concluded Windows 10 sucks. That has been confirmed now that I have an employer issued HP elite book.


The elite book at first appeared to run flawlessly, however with in a few weeks I noticed many of the same stupid issues that my personal HP pavilion has. Slow run speeds, poor battery life no matter what settings I change, issues with shortcuts working for a while than not working, restarts once or more times a day, and many more. To my surprise, the Elite Book costs nearly as much as a brand new Mac Book Pro. Why would I spend either at least as much on repairs to a windows machine, or to purchase one, when I can buy a Mac Book that lasts 7-10 years typically without major problems or repairs?


Solution: DONT BUY MICROSOFT WINDOWS 10 COMPUTERS! Why? Because windows 10 sucks and Microsoft customer service is a joke.


Also: dear Microsoft stop harassing me to install and use your crappy Microsoft edge browser! Brave, Chrome and Firefox are so much better! Also, your feedback app is a joke. Ive given feedback multiple times and so far, it shows none! Do you even pay attention to that? or is it just their to provide the illusion of having a way to contact Microsoft?


Microsoft wont get another penny from me for software, their crappy tablets or computers with it pre installed.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

nokia messaging for professionals? what a joke

I had the same problem even with MS Exchange application. When I installed MSE it wiped out all my contacts in the phone list. it’s really a joke!! Nokia seems to me that they don't do quality check on their applications.

 

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
