Possible Bug Preventing W10 2004 Build Upgrade from 1909 - MS XPS & Print to PDF Driver

I'm trying to upgrade to the 2004 build of Windows. There is a hiccup in the process, and it's advising the product cannot be upgraded at this time. I looked into this matter, and I found the culprits were the MS XPS and Print to PDF drivers.

Is there a Windows update available to patch this particular issue, or is MS still working out the bugs for the 2004 build? Are there any additional steps I can take without uninstalling these drivers from my environment altogether?

    Thanks for your help.

    :)

  3. MS print to pdf fails from firefox, works from edge and test page

    Indeed!
I never noticed it or tried it, because I've always used Adobe Acrobat.
That "printer" is the first PDF printer to appear on the list, so I never scrolled down to see the "MS print to PDF" option.

Thanks for the tip and the correction.Possible Bug Preventing W10 2004 Build Upgrade from 1909 - MS XPS & Print to PDF Driver :)

  4. Possible Bug Preventing W10 2004 Build Upgrade from 1909 - MS XPS & Print to PDF Driver

Not possible to print .pdf files in W10

    Hi,

I can print evrything (word, excel, note, internet pages, ..) except .pdf file with W10 (it was well working with W7 before the upgrade).

I can print .pdf file when viewed in the browser but note when it is store on my PC as a file.

The pb is that the file is sent to the printer/spooler (HP4050N, green "data" led is blincking" on the printer but nothing goes out and no msg appears. PDF files are coming from Internet or generated locally, viewer is Acrobat Reader DC.
