Windows 10: Trouble installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2017

I am having trouble installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2017. When I try installing it, an error message shows up which says "another version of the product is already installed. To configure or add/remove existing products, go to add/remove programs in the control panel." However, when I go to the control panel, it shows me I only have up to the 2015 version installed. How should I go about correctly installing the latest version? Thanks

panel before trying to install the new MS Visual 2017. Follow the steps below:

• Open Control Panel.
  
• Click Programs, then click Programs and Features.
  
• Locate Microsoft Visual 2017 C++, then click Uninstall.
  

After uninstalling the program, try to install Microsoft Visual 2017 C++ again.

1. Are you trying to download the 2017 C++ manually or through Windows update?
2. Did you make any changes to the computer before this issue occurred?
3. May I know the current build and the version that you are working with?
4. Check for the current Visual C++ installed on your PC?

Here are few suggestions that you can try out once and see if it fix the issue.

Step 1:

Click on Settings >Update & Security> Check for updates, try to install the update available.
