    Regedit Will Not Let Me Make Edits In Editor After Reboot


    Hello all,

    I am currently trying to change the RAID setting in the BIOS setup to AHCI; however, in order to do that without crashing Windows I know that I need to change the registry keys from the registry editor. However, I am having trouble making edits to the registry editor after I reboot my computer even though I made changes to ownership in both the keys that I am trying to make edits to:'iaStorV' and 'storahci'. I followed this guide step-by-step; however, whenever I reboot my computer the altered key values change back to their default values. I will attach screenshots from the ownership and allowances that I have placed in for each key. Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for me.     i did this that you posted and deleted after and it worked:
    psexec -i -d -s c:\windows\regedit.exe

    but the problem is still there *Frown Regedit Will Not Let Me Make Edits In Editor After Reboot :(

    regedit now denied me editing rights

    Hi

    No editing rights at all as far as I can tell, RO read only, in that area.

    However in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
    I have made an edit. Deleted an unwanted Start program.

    It's small but beautifully marked. That was to change a value from 0 to 1. So clearly I am confuggled.

    So please think and suggest away, and I will away and do more research.

    Can't edit text in Video Editor App

    Can't edit or add text in any Video frame or title card.

    I have tried following steps:

    1. Upgrading Windows to latest build
    2. Repairing the Photos App
    3. Re-installing the Photos App
    None of the above steps worked for me. Please let me know if anyone has a solution.
