Windows 10: New laptop seems to be having internet connection issues after windows 10 update.

I bought a laptop around the beginning of last month. I used it almost daily but only for a few things so far (like 96% of the time it's reddit, discord, youtube, and 1 video game). It was working amazing until after some windows updates. I used to get around 98-130fps on an online game that I now can no longer play online since it completely kicks internet after a few seconds to up to 6 minutes. I have been noticing it disconnects from the network a ton now. Sometimes this has to be manually reconnected even if I have it check-marked to connect automatically. No other internet device is having this problem in the house. I've done a few restarts for the laptop, physically moved it to various areas of the house (no difference), restarted the modem (and temporarily removed battery) and restarted router, made sure it's not due to too many people using up the bandwidth, checked to see if the drivers needing updating including through nvidia control panel. The only driver I didn't do was a generic intel graphics driver on intel's website which said to go through asus anyways (asus website showed stuff was up-to-date). For very short periods it will act "normal" and then just completely disconnect from internet. I've attached photos with the updates done the day the laptop started having problems along with an update I did today (didn't have any affect in relation to the problem). I did some speed tests on an online website and consistently the upload speed was in the 6mbps range while download fluctuated between the 20s up to 79mbps. Does anyone know how to fix this? Windows 10 Anniversary Update Issues

I was having troubles with the recent update also. It took an hour and a half to install and after finishing, I was unable to connect to the internet. I had a connection to the internet but for whatever reason couldn't reach any sites/use any applications. I was able to fix it by rolling back to the previous build, but it sure seems to be causing a lot of issues.

If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.
