Windows 10: Airpods cant listen to multiple apps on windows 10

I recently tried to connect my air pods to my windows 10 laptop but I came across with this problem that my airpods can only listen to one application. For example, when I open discord and chrome I can only listen to discord but no sound from chrome. When I open discord and fortnite, I can only listen to the discord but no fortnite audio

  What exact error message are you get when you try to open multiple apps?

  Are you referring to Windows app or Desktop app?
  
  
  

I would suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps:

• 
  Open multiple apps that you want.
  
• 
  Right click on the task bar.
  
• 
  From the jump menu select Show all windows side by side.
  

I also suggest you to run app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

AirPods paired but won't connect.

Thank you for replying.



I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Press Windows Logo key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand, Human Interface Devices.
   
3. Look for AirPods Audio/Video Remote Control HID and
   AirPods Hands-Free Call Control HID, right click on each entry and select
   Properties.
   
4. Go to the Power Management Tab, clear the checkbox for
   Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
   
5. Also, repeat step 4 for Bluetooth Low Energy GATT compliant HID.
   
6. Click on OK.

Airpods

My airpods don't show up on the list under HID. None of my two set do.
