Windows 10: No Man's Sky crashing on startup after restarting last night

So after playing NMS for a fair few hours last night. Came back to the laptop this morning and it just keeps crashing on startup. Asks me to repair it in the windows store so i do and the cycle continues. It crashes asks me to open windows store, repair it, open it and crashes.


Made another profile and installed it. The game loaded hntil i signed into my microsoft account. So its its something to do with my account that is making it crash it seems.

Little frustrating any ideas?

The crash dump as posted here is generated by the game No Man's Sky.

I wonder if you were expecting a crash dump generated by the System instead.

Should there actually be a crash dump generated by the System as well at the same time?

Or is there only ever just one crash dump, in this case from the game?

Just curious, as I have been trying to help this person elsewhere with this issue.

Trouble with No Man's Sky Crashing

Hello all. Got No Man's Sky when it was on sale the other week and have been having a hard time playing it due to crashing. After I play for a while, it will shut down my PC and reboot it saying that there was a power surge and that ASUS protection shut down my computer to avoid the problem.

I was told to plug the computer directly into a wall socket and that did help. I can sometimes even play the game for an hour before it crashed now (2-5 minutes before), but it still crashes. I was also told to try Unigine Heaven and run it on Ultra to see if I could recreate the problem there and I could not.

Current setup is:
i7-4770 @ 3.40 GHz CPU
16 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 1070 ti
A Thermaltake TR2 600w power supply

My power supply is old, maybe 8 years, and I don't mind replacing it, but I don't have this problem with any other game and don't want to replace it just because. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
