Windows 10: The new Windows 2004 is not allowing connection with Wickr App

I have been using Wickr Messenger on previous versions of Windows. But after I have installed Windows 2004, I'm unable to connect.

I have mailed Wickr and they have tested Wickr on 2004 and said they were unable to reproduce the issue. Meanwhile I have installed Windows 2004 on different workstations, and have redownloaded Windows and tried again, and was not able to succeed.

I have done a Wickr connection log and I get this message.

Please note that I have checked my internet connection properties, and firewall settings to see if there was anything stopping this app. I don't have any issue with any other app in connecting to Internet.

Windows Firewall blocks App Store from downloading new apps

Hi,

Let's try to check if the app store you're referring to if it's really blocked by Windows Firewall. See these steps:

• Open Windows Firewall from the taskbar >
  Firewall & network protection > Allow an app through firewall.
• A new window will show up containing the list of the apps that ca be allowed through Firewall.
• Look for the app you want to be accessed, and make sure that the Domain, Private and Public are ticked. That would allow the app store to be accessed.

'Allow a device to connect' is greyed out

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Hardware and Device troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your USB Port. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key +X, select

  Change the view by option on the top
  right to Large icons.

  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
