Windows 10: Volume on Windows 10 very low

I've had this issue for months. Whenever I start my laptop somehow the loudness of the speaker changes. For example usually when I am listening music without headphone/ earphone around 20% of the volume is loud enough. Then if I restart/ shut down/ sleep the laptop and turn it on again, the loudness decrease. However, the volume is still in 20%. It's just that the loudness of the sound from the speaker decreases almost to half of it. So if I want to listen comfortably, I will have to turn the volume up to around 40%. If I did the same thing restart/ shut down/ sleep the laptop and turn it on again, the sound will be loud again and I will have to turn the volume down.


This is a problem if I am in a video conference but I can not hear the speaker although I have turn the volume to 100%. Also sometimes when I just turn on my laptop and directly play a video or music sometimes the the volume is very loud because in the previous time I needed to turn the volume up to hear comfortably.


The volume mixer is normal in both condition as it doesn't change my previous setting and disabling and re-enabling the speaker from the device manager doesn't work. Putting my laptop to sleep and turning it on again takes time especially if I'm in a video conference.


Is there any suggestions of what can I do to solve this?

My Bluetooth headphones are at very low volume

I looking for some help.

My Bluetooth headphones are now at very low volume, even when at 100%.

Just to add some more detail

They are Sony Wf1000x

When connected there are two devices listed

• WF-1000x Stereo
• WF-1000x Hands-free

When I set the default to the stereo the volume is very low, when I set it Hands-free the volume is correct, but only from the left speaker.

I have attached the headphone to the phone and the work perfectly,

This issue has only arisen in the last few weeks, for the previous 2 months I had no issue, nor for the previous six months before when I had a different laptop on windows7, instead of my current Windows10 one.

I have checked that the drivers are all up to date, as well as windows updates.

I have unpaired, removed/replaced the drivers, uninstalled the device.

All to no avail.

Any suggestions would be great;y appreciated.

Windows 10 - Volume VERY, VERY low.

I have the same problem after changing to windows 10 from 8.1.

The volume is so low that it translates into no volume.

I figure I'll be going back to 8.1 because I enjoy watching youtube videos.

I have a Toshiba computer.

Before the change I had lots of volume.

Sure, I could go out and buy speakers to plug into my computer but then you got to drag the speakers along with the computer every time I move it, but I really don't feel like doing that.

It's much easier to go back to 8.1.

 

Windows 10 - Volume VERY, VERY low.

Had the same problem very, very low sound volume after installing Windows 10. I went to Lenovo sight and fixed my problem; sound works great now.
