Windows 10: 80% of the time when I google something in google chrome it opens a search on yahoo?

On the other occasion, it will even open a random site related to it. For example, I was doing some research on a famous geologist named Charles Lyell, when I clicked to the Wikipedia website it opened a Wallmart page for a painting of him. Help please.

Cortana wouldn't open Google Chrome

As you suggested I used the term "Start" this time but it didn't work. Just like with previous terms it took me to Bing Search.

The prefix "Start", "Open" and "Launch" worked well with other apps and programs except Google Chrome.

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

• On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
• Select Task Manager.
• Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
• Right click on them and select End Task.
• Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.
