Windows 10: Widows 10 activation problem

Hello,


My laptop comes with a preinstalled Windows 10 Home, which I did not like This pre-installed Os it limited your liberty of choice which is very bad, anyway I did not have a choice, I upgrade the home to pro with an unused copy of win 8.1 pro.


And now whenever I need to re-install my Os I have to repeat the same procedure by applying the 8.1 key it took the key to start activating procedure, at a point it says there is a problem with the activation server try again later, but when I manually restart the pc. it activated automatically to pro and it does show success sign on the right bottom corner of the screen, however every time I re-install my OS the same problem arises, is there any solution? please help

You have to perform an upgrade from 7/8 to 10 first. If you did a clean install and missed that step then authentication will fail. The only option is to reinstall the old OS and start again.

I suggest you to activate the copy of Windows 10 via phone by following the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “slui 4” and press Enter.
• Select your Region/Country.
• Select the Phone Activation option, and hold on for a real person.
