  1. Network card going in and out?

so lately I have been having trouble with my wired internet going out on my pc. it would work fine then maybe twice a day it would disconnect and go to wifi causing a short disconnect from the internet. i thought that maybe the driver is out of date so i updated and there was a new driver. so i installed it and now it doesnt work at all. every minute or so i will see the wired connection icon appear in the task bar then it will dissappear. i tried to roll back the driver update but to no avail. please help my wifi suck in my part of the house in need a wired connection TIA

also - my wired adapter is a raeltek PCIe GbE Family Controller (the one built in on the mother board)

  3. what video card would you go with

Nice *Wink Network card going in and out? ;). I look at it like this. You have 90 days to do the Step-up. If you buy it today..

    • That's May 12thish that you have be the ability to do the step up...
    • But, in that 90 days, you may have the chance to get the 4870x2 down to a price worth getting.
    • Or, Just buy one of the new cards...
3 possibilities in one little buy.

  4. Network card going in and out?

Windows 1709 10 Gbit card not showing up (X540-T2)

    Hi Duncan,

If the network card is not recognized by the computer, most probably, it's already defective or not properly connected. For us to identify what's causing the problem, we suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
    • Go to the View tab and put a tick on Show hidden devices.
    • Expand Network adapters.
    • Right-click the network adapter driver and select Properties.
    • Go to the General tab.
    • Under Device status, check if there is an error message listed.

As an initial troubleshooting step, we recommend that you unplug and re-plug the network card if possible.

Update us with the outcome so we can provide further assistance.
