Windows 10: Edge logging me out every time I close browser

I am absolutely infuriated with Windows, and with the lack of intelligence on forum replies from so-called "support people". Edge logs me out of Outlook every time I close my browser. Every thread on this forum says go to a link in settings THAT DOES NOT EXIST. You people really have no clue what you're doing. I want clear ANSWERS not a useless run-around that makes me search this stupid forum like it's a part-time job. Either that or you get some worthless reply written in PC hieroglyphics where you have to go to college and study computer engineering for 5 years before you can understand what any of it means. NOT EVERY PC USER HAS A DEGREE IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING. I'm using Edge because I despise Google with a passion and will NOT use Chrome. Firefox does NOTHING to protect you, although they say they do. SO - if you want to be my 'default browser' - something you keep harassing me with through your damn pop-ups - THEN I REQUIRE A FUNDAMENTALLY ACCURATE REPLY.


I REQUIRE A SOLUTION TO THE FOLLOWING:


Stop logging me out of Outlook every time I close the Edge browser.


I REQUIRE THE RESPONSE IN PLAIN ENGLISH.



I DO NOT HAVE 15 HOURS TO SEARCH YOUR FORUMS.


DO NOT SEND ME A SOLUTION WITH A LINK TO SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT EXIST.

1. Open the Microsoft Edge app.
2. Click on the More actions button on the toolbar, and click/tap on Settings.

3. Click/tap on View advanced settings towards the bottom.

4. Under Cookies, select to either Don't block cookies



- THERE IS NO "MORE ACTIONS" BUTTON ANYWHERE ON THIS BROWSER - DO YOU MEAN "MORE TOOLS"? - BECAUSE IF YOU DO THERE IS NO LINK FOR "SETTINGS"

- "VIEW ADVANCED SETTINGS" DOES NOT EXIST ON ANY SETTINGS MENU IN EDGE

- WHAT THE HELL IS THE EDGE "APP" - ARE YOU REFERRING TO THE BROWSER? THEN SAY SO.

GET IT RIGHT - AND DO NOT WASTE ANY MORE OF MY PRECIOUS TIME

Microsoft Edge keeps logging me out of my accounts.

A few days ago this very annoying issue cropped up for me as well.

About to pull my hair out. Has this not been solved yet?

Every single time I close down edge and restart, I have to log in to every single tab/account again.

These include, Gmail, Facebook, YouTube and others.

About ready to switch back to chrome. This is insane.

Every other browser I have works just fine.

 

Edge logging me out of an app

Thanks for the response. I don't get an error message. There is a program log-in screen where I enter my email address and a password. There's a separate page that lists the emails I've sent and whether or not they've been opened and other particulars.
At the bottom of that page there is an "update" button which is supposed to refresh the data about the emails. When I send an email and then do something else for about 3 to 5 minutes, and then go back to it and click "update" which appears at the bottom of
the email list it takes me back to the log-in screen which is once again without my email address/username or password. Support at didtheyreadit.com says this shouldn't happen and doesn't happen due to any settings in their program. They deduced that it has
to be security settings in the browser. It comes with 3 choices of which browser you want to assign it to....Google Chrome (I use that for my default browser and didn't want it slowed down by this program)...Microsoft Edge (which opens every time I start the
computer in spite of having deleted it on several occasions) or Firefox. I figured that since Edge keeps being re-installed by MS and slows my boot up, that I'd go ahead and pick it for the program so at least it's doing something I want done and not just
annoying, and delaying me. I don't know anything about the Edge browser except that I don't like it and don't appreciate having it rammed down my throat regardless of uninstalling it many times like I mentioned.

This is an ongoing issue and nothing has been changed about the browser, or the OS. It worked this way from the get go. It works in Edge once I'm logged in, but it also doesn't work properly due to the auto log off business.

Edge keeps me logged out from every website whenever I start it.

Yes it only occurs on MS Edge, every other browser works fine,

We got no errors, by saying "stay logged in" I mean that you don't have to type your credentials again when you start your browser and load that same page (yt,fb,reddit etc).

And to make myself clear -> When we re-start the browser it logs us out on exit(?) from every website, so we have to type credentials (youtube,fb etc) again on every Edge start.

We do not have any AV installed except W10's defender and it's firewall, also no malware.
