Windows 10: Multiple Clients, One Program, One Server

New IT student here and I have a question about applications being shared/networked by multiple clients. Let us use the example of a PC Game. In my scenario, we have 5 clients all average gaming machines, not virtual machines. These clients are networked on a LAN with a single server that hosts a contemporary PC game. Is it possible for more than one computer to run a program over a LAN simultaneously? If so what are the technical terms for this kind of setup? I am looking for some great videos on how to duplicate this process in a home lab. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am at the A+ certified level, so please understand I am still very new at all this and thanks ahead of time!

One Drive Client for Windows Server 2019

Is there a supported one drive client available with the new released Windows Server 2019, for using it with RDS Farm?

Especially for on demand capability, this will be a big impromed for RDS Farms.

One Particular Program Will Not Open

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



We understand that you are unable to launch an application.



As you have mentioned the game was originally released for Windows 98/ME/XP, it could be possible that the game might not be fully compatible with Windows 10.



We would suggest you to check the installed programs list to see whether the game was successfully installed or not. To check type: appwiz.cpl in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit Enter. Look for the game in the list.



If you do not find the game in the list, we would suggest you to try installing it again.
After installing the game, refer the steps below to run the game in compatibility mode:

1. Right click on the game file and select
   Properties.
   
2. Click on Compatibility tab.
   
3. Now, under Compatibility mode, click on
   Run this program in compatibility mode for.
   
4. Select Windows 98/ME/XP using the drop down menu.
   
5. Click on OK and try running the game.

We would also suggest you to contact the game manufacturer and check if the updated version of game is available, that can be run in Windows 10.

Server 2016 RDS and multiple monitors for client

Hi,

I'm trying to get my remote desktop across 2 monitors on my client laptop.

I have done the following with no effect:

The first method is directly through the RDP interface. Open the Remote Desktop and click the "Options" button on the bottom left-hand corner of the window. Click on the "Display" tab and tick the checkbox
that reads "Use all my monitors for the remote session" Once this is selected, you can then click "Connect" and proceed with connecting to the server as normal. If you would like this to be the default behavior for RDP, click on the "General" tab and click
"Save" before connecting to your remote server.

Is there something server side that needs to be done to enable clients to use multiple monitors e.g. policy settings?

We are on Server 2016, with Windows10 pro on client laptops.
