    Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wifi- Adapter not working in HP Pavilion g6-2228tx Notebook PC

    So i have been using this laptop for nearly 5 years now and just these couple of months the wifi driver, Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn decides to stop working so i checked device manager and the driver was gone when i scan for hardware changes. It doesn't come
    back when i retart my laptop as well. Please help me with this situation because it's very annoying because sometimes it comes back and goes again.

    Limited WiFi Connectivity on Ralink RT3290 Driver on Windows 10 Pro

    I had the same problem with Ralink RT3290 wifi adapter for almost 2 years. I finally stumbled upon a solution. The following steps fixed the problem for me.

    Control Panel... Network and Internet... Network Connections... Wireless Network Connection Status... Properties... Configure... Advanced... Roaming Sensitivity... change to "Highest".

    Hope this helps someone else.

    Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn

    Ralink RT3290 issue with buid 14915.1000


    I am an insider. 2 days ago install build 14915.1000, a lot of problems were solved but my wireless connection stop work. I'm using a Ralink RT3290 802.11 BGN wifi adapter. when I try to update my driver gives me error code 37.
    Any ideas and/or tips to solve this problem?
