Windows 10: Perfect migration except InPrivate is neither BLOCKED nor FILTERED!!!

A laptop charging port broke and died, dead as a brick.


Moving to a new laptop was unbelievably smooth and glitch-free, including Microsoft Family Safety and transferring the Windows 10 Pro license.


Latest of EVERYTHING right now.


However, InPrivate browsing is NOT blocked, unlike it was on the now deceased laptop.


And, worse, InPrivate browsing is NOT filtering.


I can see online how to fix it via RegEdit, Group Policy, etc.


But this is a massive bug. How many kids will tell their parents?????


Please, Microsoft, don't drop the baton. Quality has shot up tremendously lately. However, THIS feels like a return to the decade of decadence.

How to Block Calls and Messages:

• To block a call, Open Phone> Tap and hold a number> Block. That’s it! Now, when you get calls from that particular number, it gets rejected automatically.
• To block a message, Open Messaging> Tap and hold a message> Block. Now, you will get rid of the messages you don’t want to see/read.
• Apart from blocking calls, and messages separately, you can block a contact, so that you can neither get calls nor messages from that particular contact. To do this, open Block and Filter using any of the method given above. Tap on the Hamburger
  Menu> Select Block List> Tap the ‘+’> Enter the number you want to block.

How to manage Blocked Calls and Messages:

• You can unblock the blocked calls anytime, just follow the above step till you reach the Blocked Calls menu, tap, and hold the number you want to unblock, Click on Unblock.
• Similar to unblocking calls, messages can also be unblocked by tapping and holding the blocked message in the Blocked Messages menu.
• Numbers with no caller ID can also be blocked under Settings of the app.
• You can also get notified when you get a message or call from the blocked contact, just by switching on the option under Settings.

 

inprivate browsing

Thank you for the feedback, David. Generally, InPrivate browsing will not be active and need to be initiated manually. If
InPrivate browsing opens when you try to launch Internet Explorer, you can try these steps to disable it:

• Right-click on the Internet Explorer icon and click-on
  Properties.
• Under Target, the path should be "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" (with the quotation marks.) If
  -inprivate is suffixed, removed it and click the OK button.

Editing junk filter list

That is the question I can't answer. Was quite normal until about 6 weeks ago. AT present, averaging 75-90 per day. Solicitations about females are about 1/2 of that now. *Mad

Trying Office Outlook 2016, Safe lists only, no change. I also checked all (except US) on Top-Level Domain list & Encoding list as a further test.
