Windows 10: I can't make In-App purchases since the 1909 update.

Discus and support I can't make In-App purchases since the 1909 update. in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Since the 1909 Update I have not been able to make in-app purchases.     I can't make In-App purchases since the 1909 update.


    Since the 1909 Update I have not been able to make in-app purchases. I had no problem before then and have not made any other changes to the system since. I play a few games such as Airport City, Eternium, Township and others that have those "special offers" and have made purchases as recently as July, 5, 2020. I would like to resolve this issue quickly, so any help would be appreciated.


    What I have tried:


    Resetting store cache as administrator.

    Running the WSReset.exe as administrator

    "Re-register Windows Store by running the following commands in a CMD window started as Administrator:

    PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted "

    $manifest = Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore.InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest


    Making sure my time/date settings were correct.

    Making sure my UAC setting were correct.

    Making sure the apps are set correctly in the Windows Defender Firewall.

    That I am not using a proxy to connect to the internet.. In fact I have used alternate internet connections to be sure it wasn't an issue. My Wife uses the same connection that I do and has no problems Also, she has not upgraded to 1909, she is still using 1903.





    From the settings/system/about page.. here are my specs:


    Edition Windows 10 Pro

    Version 1909

    Installed on 3/11/2020 <--- this is inaccurate, as I installed it in July 2020

    OS Build 18363.997

  2. Unable to make in-app purchases

    Problem: Unable to make in-app purchases within apps bought at Windows Store

    This problem:

    • affects all my devices (desktop Win10, laptop Win10 and Surface RT)
    • has been around for some months, when the laptop and desktop ran Win8.1
    • would therefore seem to be a problem with my account, although I can't find any problem there
    • doesn't affect me buying an actual app within Windows Store, just throws up an error code when I try and make an in-app purchase
    All Windows Update settings are apparently as they should be.

    Has anyone any ideas?

    User.000 issue after updating to 1909

    I'm one of the many people suffering from issues with user profiles after applying Update 1909 to Windows 10. I've read all the threads I can find on the topic here and have followed the suggestions, all to no avail. Any other thoughts are appreciated.

    After applying Update 1909, the ProfileImagePath was changed to c:\users\User.000
    One file that was always in use and couldn't be removed was left in c:\users\User (can't recall or find the exact file now), so I could never rename or remove the c:\user\User directory.

    I followed the multiple suggestions from Brink and others:
    • Rebooted at least 6 times
    • Enabled hidden Administrator
    • Booted into Safe Mode
    • Changed ProfileImagePath
    • Tried to rename c:\users\User but couldn't because a file was still in use
    • Copied all data from c:\users\User.000 into c:\users\User
    • Rebooted and had temporary profile
    • Followed steps in Brink tutorial to change ImageProfilePath; rebooted with no change
    • Restored using Restore Point from before Update 1909 - returned to single profile state (User.000)
    • Removed each update that was installed individually and rebooted after each update removal - profile state never changed
    • After all updates were removed, repeated the steps above with hidden Administrator, changing profile, etc. - same issue with file in use in c:\users\User
    • Followed all steps above with hidden Administrator but without copying files from User.000 to User - same results

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    I cannot make an in-app purchase in my Tomato - Be Focused app. I am running Windows 10 and got the app for free in the Windows 10 store. I get this error message when I am in the app and click the "get it" button within the app when it tells me I need
    to purchase a lifetime upgrade for $0.99. The error message says: The purchase did not complete. The user may have cancelled the purchase. ExtendedError. Anybody have any suggestions? Your help would be really appreciated. Thanks.
