Windows 10: Explorer.EXE error after login in.

I am using Windows 10 version 1909, recently after logging in, I get this explorer.exe error every time. Until I close it or click ok, some of the startup apps don't start. I have already scanned for viruses using AVG.

Hello,

I have a new HP laptop, less than 5 months old. It has Office 365 Student loaded on it. I started getting the explorer.exe error message on shutdown about two months after I purchased the laptop.

I have tried all of the steps recommended here. And nothing has worked.

Any other suggestions?

No login screen- hard error: explorer.exe

No login screen, 4 icons. This situation after clean boot with directory repair from msconfig selected, after trying to solve hard error; explorer.exe.

In normal clean boot i could not solve the problem. After starting up without all services including windows programs from msconfig it gave hard error. In clean boot hard error was gone. So tried clean boot with directory repair.

Now i am not able to login anymore.

can you help me out?

Did all of that and did not work so far this has worked but not sure for how long?

I changed my virtual memory size from 16GB (16000) to 1.5 times the size to (24000)

So far the trick worked to correct the "explorer.exe-application" error
