    Windows May 2020 Update

This update was installed on July 23, 2020 at night after I went to bed. When I woke up the next and went to get my email, I couldn't even login using my password or pin. I went to another computer to login on the Microsoft website and my password worked. I even tried using different sign in alternatives by the menu and was unsuccessful.

I finally took it to the Geek Squad and they managed to recover my data paying the standard fee 150.00. Apparently, this update completely wiped my account off my computer and thankfully didn't erase any of my data. They told me that it was a corrupted Microsoft update.

My concern is to alert other users that are considering this update to be careful - backup up your files frequently.

    :)
